New York Strip with Bleu Cheese Herb Butter

1-2 lb New York Strip steak (or cut of choice)
Montreal Steak Seasoning (or seasoning/marinade of choice)
Bleu Cheese Herb Butter
small container bleu cheese (5 oz)
1 stick butter - room temp
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 tbsp fresh minced parlsey (dried is fine too)
1. Combine all butter ingredients well in a small bowl. Spoon onto a piece of parchment or plastic wrap, roll up and form into a log. Place in freezer and allow to harden while steaks cook. *note: we leave it in the freezer for future meals
2. Cook seasoned/marinated steaks to your preference
3. Pull log from freezer 5-10 minutes before steaks are finished. Place a medallion slice on each steak immediately after they are done cooking and allow to melt and cool 5 minutes before serving
